The wedge wire screen is created by wrapping a profile wire cylindrical around longitudinal placed support rods. It's also known as wire wrapped screens, rod based Johnson screen, water filter, welded wire mesh, stainless steel wire and filter element and etc..Each intersecting point of these wires is fusion welded, with an unique welding process. The pitch of winding gives different spacing between two adjacent turns of wire. Hence, the screen allows water or oil to enter your well freely in ample quantities and keeps the majority of sand and gravel out of the well. The wedge wire filter has high strength, stiffness and load-bearing capacity. It is more widely used in filtration system in many industries.
